Dr. Sharma attended medical school on a full scholarship at the University of Jammu and Kashmir, India, graduating in 1998.
Training in the United States
Dr. Sharma completed his Internal Medicine residency at New York Methodist Hospital, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, in 2007.
Gastroenterology Fellowship
He completed advanced fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, graduating in 2012.
